Scalpel Handle
BA-Med Handle #3 is 5" long and can be used for blades 10-15c to make straight, long cuts in general surgical procedures. This scalpel handle is made of premium German stainless steel and is available with or without a scale. The handle has grooves to assist in a better grip and avoid slippage during surgery.
Tissue Forceps
BA-Med Tissue Forceps are handcrafted from surgical grade German stainless steel. The standard pattern is available in 1x2, 2x3, 4x5 or 3x4 teeth models ideal for handling the various thicknesses of tissues. The serrated handle offers a comfortable and secure grip for the surgeon. Each tooth style is available in several lengths.
Kelly Forceps
BA-Med Kelly Forceps are made from premium German stainless steel and are a type of hemostat that can be used in medical situations that require blocking a hemorrhaging blood vessel. The curved or straight patterned jaws are partially serrated, which may allow for blunt dissection as well.
Iris Scissorfs
BA-Med Stainless Steel Iris Scissors are handcrafted with surgical grade German stainless steel. The Iris Scissors were first designed for the intricacies demanded by ophthalmic surgery. Today these fine, sharp scissors can be used in other contexts such as the emergency room where precision is required. The Iris Scissor is available with a straight or curved tips as well as a straight delicate and curved delicate pattern. The scissors are very small and contain an extremely sharp point which makes them ideal for fine detailed work.
Weitlaner Retractor
BA-Med Weitlaner Retractor is made from premium German stainless steel. It is a popular self-retaining retractor with a scissor-like shape. The retractor blades each contain curved, downward-pointing prongs which retain their position when the handles are locked in place to expose an open wound. The instrument is offered with either sharp or blunt prongs in a 2x3 or 3x4 configuration, and in patterns of varying lengths.
